Equipment Management Supervisor

As part of our expansion in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Equipment Management Supervisor to oversee the management and maintenance of our equipment.

Role Description:

As the Equipment Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities related to the management and maintenance of equipment at our facility in Dammam. You will ensure the proper functioning of equipment, minimize downtime, and optimize operational efficiency. Your role will involve overseeing a team of technicians, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of equipment maintenance technicians to ensure the effective operation of all equipment.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
3. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any issues or potential problems and take corrective action as necessary.
4. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials required for equipment maintenance.
5. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
6. Train and develop maintenance staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
7. Monitor equipment performance and efficiency metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
9. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality assurance, to optimize equipment performance and minimize disruptions to operations.
10. Prepare reports and updates for management on equipment maintenance activities, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (5+ years) in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
3. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
4. Experience in supervising a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating their activities.
5. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
6. Solid understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices.
7. Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
9. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to equipment maintenance.
