This position is responsible to develop supplemental integration capabilities with and for the Enterprise Integration Bus cooperatively with different integration teams and perform analysis, development to enhance and extend integration capabilities among ADIB application and external partners.
Participate in integration strategy; analyze existing and proposed interfaces in the enterprise network, providing solution, recommendation. Participate in periodic reviews of interfaces to improve security, performance and standardization.
Ensure that all components of IIB (IBM Integration Bus), WSRR, ODM and API are configured according to the industry best practices and approved architecture as defined by Enterprise Architecture team.
Fully understand the position and purpose of different IBM products such as IIB, WSRR, API and ODM. Provide direction and guidance on positioning the solution to different IBM components.
Ensure that appropriate security controls are in place. Access to service is restricted only to authorized channel as approved and granted by access control team.
Provide guidance on installation and configuration of IBM product such as WSRR, ODM, API and IIB.
Responsible to create detailed accurate technical design specifications and project documentation demonstrable to management and technical team.
Assist in preparing the test cases ensuing 100% code coverage.
Assist and guide other teams on implications of IIB, WSRR, API and ODM on respective solutions.
Raise and follow up required change requests and tickets in service manager.
Prepare/Review IARs and related documents related to projects and tasks for approvals.
Gathering requirements from business users for projects, tasks, operational requests and enhancements for technical teams.
Coordination between project and business teams during the execution of projects and tasks.
Completion of the assigned tasks to satisfy the Users needs and within the agreed upon time parameters.
Execute the ad-hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards from line manager to achieve any exceptional business objectives, Internal IT Objectives related to ADIB group including international expansion.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
Operational & Development Support:
Raise and follow-up with vendors where required for troubleshooting / fixes ensuring that the standard SLAs are met.
Track, resolve and report incidents and known errors through the approved processes.
Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services.
Execute any relevant task assigned to him by ADIB IT senior management within timeframe agreed upon.
Communication
Attend all the team meetings, one to one meeting to have a high level of communication culture.
Timely response to email, tasks assigned and effective follow up with various stakeholders.
Prepare tasks status reports and submit to stakeholders on timely basis.
Documentation / Process Ownership:
The incumbent is responsible to take ownership, maintain & update documented processes or documentation related to his job function.
In the event where processes or documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible to inform the owner of any document about required changes or improvements.
People & Attendance:
Co-operate with the team members in a cohesive and professional manner and proactive good attendance habits and maintain the reporting hierarchy in all matters.
The incumbent should adhere to working hours which might require working for extended hours depending on job nature and task assigned.
Information Security:
Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment.
Ensure that data access is controlled and audited using the appropriate tools available in ESB Solution
As soon as possible, report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk.
Maintain Risk Free/control IT environment at ADIB.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
Must have working knowledge on IBM production such as IIB, WSRR, API and ODM. Fully understand the purpose of each component. Must have implementation experience in IIB, WSRR API and ODM in a big organization.
Must possess hands on development expertise includes Web Technologies (Java/J2EE), Integration Technologies (WebServices, MQ, JMS) and IBM SOA Suite (Message Broker, Data Power, Business Process Manager, ESB, Service Registry, ODM).
A thorough understanding of the concepts & implications surrounding building resilient and reliable SOA solutions on IBM Middleware.
Design, development and installation experience using IBM API Connect, IBM Integration Bus / IBM WebSphere Message Broker.
Good knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, standards and procedures for high quality software development.
Knowledge on OAuth and its related Configuration and Customization in API Gateway and SAML authorization flows.
Experience in IIB administration on windows and UNIX systems
Must be certified on IBM ESB SOA Suite e.g SOA, XML, MQ and WebSphere Message Broker, Websphere MQSeries, IIB System administration.
Previous experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in Developing and managing IBM ESB production of which minimum 7 years should be in a similar role in Banking industry.
