Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate the cost of custom woodwork and furniture projects based on design specifications, materials, and labor.

Scope Analysis: Review customer requirements and project details to provide precise cost breakdowns.

Material & Resource Calculation: Calculate material needs, waste factors, and lead times to ensure efficient production.

Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and hardware.

Quotations: Prepare detailed and transparent quotations for clients, including all project costs.

Cost Control & Optimization: Ensure projects stay within budget and suggest cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.

Collaboration: Work closely with design and production teams to align estimates with project execution.

Market Insights: Keep up with market trends and competitor pricing to offer competitive estimates.

Client Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, addressing requirements and pricing adjustments as needed.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to estimation processes for better accuracy and efficiency.

**Qualifications:**

Proven experience (7+ years) in cost estimation for woodwork and furniture manufacturing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of material costs and production processes.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
