Job Purpose:The Estimation Engineer is responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting thorough cost assessments, and preparing detailed project estimates. Their work contributes significantly to the decision-making process, ensuring that projects are financially viable and competitive.
- Principal Accountabilities:
Prepare lists of estimated quantities and man-hours for on-module and off-module work for the fabrication shop scope of work for a given proposal or project.
- Estimation of Modular buildings, E houses.
Coordinate and consolidate material and labour estimates for all estimates into approved formats and reports.- Review client specification, prepare, coordinate, review and distribute estimates in accordance with Company policy and procedures, Workflow, and Work Instructions.
Re-estimate and issue fabrication man-hour estimates and material cost estimates as requested by project management.
- Coordinating, consulting, and communicating with Operations team, contractors, and subcontractors as necessary.
Maintain current Unit Rates and Material cost data.- Prepare estimates for Job Change Notices (JCN).
Prepare reports and analysis pertinent to estimating as requested by management.

Adept in Mathematics
Knowledge on codes and standards- Knowledge on Modular buildings, technical buildings.
Minimum 2 years of estimating experience.- Education qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) or bachelor's in engineering. (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil)
Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, and other Company and discipline specific software applications.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
