We are seeking an experienced
Automation Engineer - Estimation to join our team, specializing in delivering comprehensive automation solutions across various industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in estimating and proposing solutions for automation systems, including DCS, SCADA, PLC, and Instrumentation.
Requirements
Offer Preparation: Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and tender specifications for both Brownfield and Greenfield automation projects.
Technical Expertise: Provide innovative and technically sound solutions for complex automation and software systems tailored to diverse industrial requirements.
Solution Design: Propose system architectures, bills of materials, and technical compliance documentation for process automation solutions incorporating control systems like DCS, PLC, SCADA, Historian, and Instrumentation.
Techno-Commercial Bids: Prepare comprehensive bids for RFQs, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client needs.
Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed cost estimation, factoring in all elements such as supply, services, warranties, and product life cycle support.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of automation systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC, Instrumentation) and their application across utility industries
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting techno-commercial proposals and bids
- Expertise in system architecture design, bill of materials preparation, and technical compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex automation challenges
- Strong understanding of cost estimation principles, including service, supply, and product lifecycle considerations
- 5 Years experience in Proposal/Estimation
- B.Tec or BE - Instrumenation or Electrical Engineering
