We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team specializing in Metal and tensile fabric construction projects. The Estimator will play a crucial role in assessing project costs and preparing competitive bids based on detailed analysis of construction documents and specifications. Candidate with a skill on project planning will be given preference.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, design drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for tensile fabric construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information and clarify project scope and requirements.
Utilize knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection practices to accurately estimate costs related to structural components and installation processes.
Interpret technical and legal documents related to construction contracts and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material pricing based on project blueprints and specifications.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and completeness of bids.
Utilize Microsoft software applications, particularly Excel, to develop and manipulate spreadsheets for estimating purposes.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to clarify scope of work, pricing, and project requirements.
Manage multiple estimating tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates through meticulous attention to detail and thorough review of all relevant information
