We are looking for a
Senior Estimator with strong knowledge in Interior Fit out Works. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for providing detailed and budget estimates for interior fit-out, Loose Furniture, Timber Doors, Joinery Works.
- This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE.
- We are hiring only candidates who have a minimum of 5-7 years experience in a Fit-out and Joinery company and are currently in UAE.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of joinery, wooden and fit out works.
- Calculating the cost of materials and labor required to complete the project.
Conduct estimation and cost control activities to ensure projects stay within budget.- Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
Maintaining supplier / subcontractor database and consistently seeking new companies to pre- qualify for inclusion on tender list.
A bachelors in civil engineering, architecture or equivalent years of work experience.
- You should have at least 5-7 years experience in estimation & costing with Joinery and fit-out company. Minimum 3 years in UAE is desirable.
High proficiency in numeracy and strong analytical skills. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.- Ability to read and have a good understanding of CAD.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
Project management skills.
