Job Description

Provide specialized support for RAID systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of storage solutions
Monitor and maintain RAID configurations, performing regular health checks and troubleshooting as needed
Assist in the implementation of RAID setups, ensuring alignment with best practices and client requirements
Work closely with engineering and IT teams to resolve any issues related to RAID systems
Document and track all support activities and incidents, ensuring thorough records for future reference
Provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of ongoing support issues
Train staff and clients on RAID best practices and usage, helping to improve overall understanding and optimum use of the technology
Stay informed about new technologies and advancements in RAID solutions to continuously enhance service offerings
Participate in post-incident reviews to identify root causes and recommend improvements

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in technical support roles, specifically with RAID systems
Strong understanding of different RAID levels, configurations, and associated management tools
Experience with storage area networks (SAN) and network-attached storage (NAS) is a plus
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively
Relevant certifications in storage technologies or systems support are a plus
