As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are seeking an experienced and passionate Events Manager (Account Manager) with expertise in the automotive industry to manage and execute new vehicle launches and other automotive-centric events.
Job Overview:
The Events Manager (Account Manager) will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing automotive events, including new vehicle launches. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality events that meet and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of automotive events, including new vehicle launches, ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standard.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for automotive clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are met.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement event strategies that align with client goals and drive brand engagement.
- Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high quality.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure services and products necessary for events.
- On-Site Management: Manage on-site event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance, gather insights, and recommend improvements for future events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and logistics, to deliver cohesive and impactful events.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, particularly within the automotive sector, to incorporate into event planning.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in event management, with a significant portion within the automotive industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry, including key players, trends, and market dynamics.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Budgeting Skills: Strong financial acumen with experience in managing event budgets.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
