In Saudi Arabia, SYSTRA has been ever present for more than 20 years and continues to expand and play its part in helping the Kingdom achieve its 2030 vision. With 400+ employees SYSTRA is involved in many of the Kingdoms iconic projects.
Within our Consulting business, we have an opportunity to establish a PMO to assist in the delivery of a regreneration programme within Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; within this scope we are looking for a
Excellence/Continuous Improvement Manager to join this programme.
Missions/Main Duties
- Develop and maintain a governance framework for aligning operational excellence initiatives with organizational strategies and supporting effective implementation
- Establish and enforce governance structures to ensure adequate oversight, decision-making, and accountability for operational excellence programs.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure the success and impact of operational excellence initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with operational excellence projects, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Develop and execute change management plans to ensure the successful adoption of operational excellence methodologies and practices
- Ensure alignment of leadership and top management with the transformation goals, fostering a culture of commitment and support
- Identify and redesign key business processes to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals
- Embed a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement, ensuring that the transformation's benefits are sustained over time
- Develop and implement KPIs for corporate functions and projects, including defined reports, to enhance accountability and emphasize ownership of process integrity, controls, results, performance, etc
- Define and implement detailed specifications for dashboard reporting
- Structure reporting requirements, including templates, agendas, and meeting frequencies for corporate, support functions, and projects, to enhance communication, collaboration, transparency, and accountability across the company
- Review and redefine detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all critical business processes to reduce unnecessary risks and inefficiencies
- Regular check-ins are needed to ensure policies and SOPs are in sync and to foster competing organizational cultures
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and support for operational excellence goals.
- Provide strong change leadership, guiding the organization through the transformation journey and overcoming resistance to change.
Profile/Skills
- Minimum 15 years experience, focused on the development, implementation and improvement of existing and future processes and procedures focused on the design, planning, construction and real-estate industry.
- Experience leading a team for developing processes and procedures for organisations of large scale programs, with strong knowledge of best and latest practices, technologies and methods.
- Demonstrable experience focusing on auditing, training, implementation, quality assurance/control as well as continual improvement of policies, procedures, templates and tools.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple organisational units and departments as well as external stakeholders and vendors to ensure workflows are robust and support with change management and the uptake of processes and procedures.
- A proven track record of deploying forward-looking strategic, managerial, and operational methods, in addition to the digitalisation and automation of processes and procedures.
- Professional certificate in related fields such as (BPM Business Process Management/ CPP Certified Process Professional/Process Excellence).
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field from an accredited recognised university (Urban Planning / Project Management / Business Administration / Engineering) with experience in Business Process Design
- Saudi nationals candidates preferred
