We are working with one of the key 2030 developers in Riyadh who over the last 12 months have gone through a number key restructures. With a large Riyadh Masterplan this entity is looking for an Executive Director of Development & Investment who can bridge the gap between the two worlds and oversee key investment and feasibility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in real estate investment, development, project management, and market analysis, along with a keen understanding of financial modeling and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute real estate investment strategies that align with the company's growth goals. Identify high-yield opportunities in various markets, conducting thorough market and financial analyses.
- Oversee the lifecycle of development projects, from site selection and acquisition through construction and leasing. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Perform comprehensive financial modeling, ROI projections, and risk assessments. Ensure alignment with financial goals and provide regular updates on investment performance to the executive team.
- Stay informed on market trends, zoning laws, regulatory requirements, and emerging opportunities. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to facilitate seamless project execution. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as brokers, developers, investors, and local government agencies.
- Lead and mentor a team of real estate professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years in real estate investment and development, with a proven track record of successful acquisitions, project management, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and project management software. Strong knowledge of real estate markets, investment analysis, and development processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.
- Deep understanding of real estate trends, market dynamics, zoning and regulatory requirements, and capital markets.
