Executive Director (ED), Equity Sales Saudi Arabia
A leading investment bank is seeking an experienced Executive Director to join its Equity Sales team, focusing on Saudi Arabia. The role requires managing and expanding relationships with institutional clients such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, hedge funds, and family offices.
Client Coverage and Relationship Management:
- Lead the development and management of relationships with institutional clients in Saudi Arabia.
- Identify opportunities to expand the client base across various market sectors.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing customized market insights and investment strategies.
Sales and Execution:
- Market and distribute equity products, including cash equities, derivatives, structured products, and equity-linked instruments.
- Oversee trade execution, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaborate with trading desks to offer competitive pricing and liquidity solutions.
Market Analysis and Advisory:
- Use internal research and market expertise to provide actionable investment ideas and opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes impacting Saudi equities and the broader GCC region.
- Deliver clear and persuasive presentations on investment opportunities and risks.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Act as a senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment across sales, trading, and research teams.
- Mentor and support the development of junior team members within the equity sales division.
- Represent the firm at industry events, client meetings, and conferences to strengthen brand visibility.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in equity sales, with a proven track record in managing institutional client relationships. Deep familiarity with the Saudi and GCC markets is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced qualifications such as an MBA or CFA are preferred.
- Extensive understanding of equity markets, including cash equities, derivatives, and structured products.
- In-depth knowledge of the Saudi market, including Tadawul and local regulations.
