Grand Hyatt Kuwait is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Executive Pastry Chef, who will inspire a team of young patissiers to deliver the finest European-style pastries with a keen focus on modern presentation and flair. This trend setter will be the driving force behind creating and delivering the highest product standards for an eclectic number of restaurants and event spaces.
This role requires hands-on leadership with strong people management, communications and organizational skills, to ensure the efficient and consistent management of the Pastry & Bakery department.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have similar experience and background in renowned stand-alone restaurants:
- Established experience in stand-alone pastry boutiques and independent high-end restaurants
- Master in confiserie, chocolatier and patisserie with a sound understanding of baking
- Strong technical background with an instinctive aptitude for innovation and creativity
- Infectious passion about the trade and an innate desire to train others on the art of pastry
- An inspirational, caring and engaging leader with exceptional communication and team leader skills
