We seek an exceptional, both personally and professionally, Senior Accountant with PE/VE experience for our UAE operation to join our team on an immediate basis. You will be exceptionally dynamic and must have attained a diverse skill set within the finance and general operational departments,

Main Purpose

The Senior Financial Strategist / Accountant will oversee general accounting functions for multiple entities within the group at both country and international levels. This role involves direct participation in the implementation of systems, as well as the procedural aspects of accounting processes that encompass statistics, profits, cash flows, audits, financial reporting, and internal budgeting.

Job Description

You will be an ambitious finance professional to join our rapidly expanding business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be instrumental in scaling up and systemizing functions in the business within the Finance Department and manage administration and supplier liaison.

The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented and will possess a demonstrated ability to effectively influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, financial analysis, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives.

Requirements

• Based in Dubai
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance in the UAE
• Experienced within scale-ups and raising growth capital / proven background in business growth and specifically PE/VC growth capital(mandatory!)
• Operational optimization and support, internal auditing and strategic financial support
• Ability to leverage technology to simplify, improve and innovate finance processes and systems
• Entrepreneurial individual ready to take complete ownership of finance processes
• Independent thinker with a growth mindset
• Immediate availability
