We are looking for experts in naval maintenance engineering who will provide technical support to the customers of an important international naval manufacturer.
The activity will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, starting in the first trimester of 2025.
Platform Maintenance Technician
- Naval or industrial engineer/technician with experience in ship infrastructure maintenance (platform and hull).
- At least 2 years of experience in planning and supervision of maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge and experience in installation, maintenance and repair of shipboard structures, plumbing, sewage, piping and ballast systems.
- Knowledge and experience in inspection of hull damage, cracks, corrosion, verification of requirements, verification of material certificates, traceability.
- Knowledge and experience in hull mechanical installations (accommodation, kitchen, insulation, painting, anti-corrosion coatings, cathodic protection, fixed ballast, doors, HVAC, etc.).
- English B2.
System engineer
- Electrical, telecommunication, or naval engineer/technician
- At least 2 years of experience in installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Knowledge and experience in Communications Systems, Combat Systems, Weapons Systems and Navigation Systems of military ships.
- English B2.
Configuration control engineer
- Engineer/technician with at least 2 years of experience in configuration control
- Experience in ensuring that the systems configuration remains consistent and controlled throughout its lifecycle by establishing and maintaining procedures to manage changes to the systems configuration, track those changes and ensure that all changes are properly documented and authorized.
- Experience in monitoring all configuration management processes, controlling, and maintaining configuration procedures and records, prepare and support technical documents.
- English B2.
Obsolescence management engineer
- Engineer/technician with at least 2 years of experience in obsolescence management
- Experience in focusing on the proactive identification and mitigation of issues that may arise due to the ageing or discontinuation of existing equipment, components, or technologies.
- Experience in Health Checks and Impact Assessments related to Obsolescence Management, tracking of equipment, early notification of impending obsolescence along with mitigation options, sourcing of critical components and assemblies.
