We are looking for a competent outbound Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the outbound logistics operations of Tagaddod.
You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective outbound operations. A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their organization, communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in supply management principles and practices.
The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor all outgoing and cross countries cargo for Tagaddod, while advising our customers on the
latest updates, answering their requests via email, telephone or chat
- Take full ownership of the customer experience by managing the end-to-end shipment process, remaining up
to date with all internal & external procedures, and product developments
- Maintain a solid understanding of the cargo you are transporting via road, rail or sea
- Act as the primary contact for customers and build strong relationships with them, understand their business,
service needs and drivers to continuously improve cooperation
- Work independently, while also sharing knowledge and best practices with the team
- Be open to change and drive customer experience improvement initiatives
- Has responsibility for handling daily Documentation tasks in line with the Client/Process SOPs and ensures
quality of service is maintained at all times.
- May support peers with technical or process related challenges during process execution
- Has accountability for preparation of export/import documentation and submission of the same timely and
accurately to stakeholders.
- Adheres to SOPs, and any deviations to be checked prior with stakeholders
- May perform root cause analyses in the event of escalations
- May train new hires on the process(es)
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience as logistics coordinator
- Experience in customer service will be a plus
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
