What this job involves:
The Facilities Technician is responsible for driving maintenance programs (including routine inspection, corrective, and preventive activities) with a focus on system reliability, with the application of Best Practices and wide range of engineering principles and practices to:
- Implement mandatory routine inspections in conformance to Standard Operating Procedures and reliability governance.
- Support emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring on facilities system performance, critical parameters and loading.
- Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or troubleshooting of facilities equipment, and close monitoring on facilities system performance, critical parameters and loading.
- Facilitate and administer reliability improvement projects including isolation and Testing and Commissioning, and other experimental simulations.
- Interface directly with clients to identify and analyze critical needs, define problems, and develop specifications to guide the solution process.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of all information reported associated with Daily Shift Ops Report, Weekly MRM Report, Monthly Report, Risk Assessment, BAR, Maximo PM Closure and other imperative updates.

Academic Qualification, Professional Experience
- Candidate must possess a minimum Diploma in Engineering discipline, with considerable hands-on working experience in facilities engineering.
SKILLS And CORE COMPETENCIES
- Able to work independently, possess integrity and a right sense of urgency to meet deadlines, including work irregular hours and occasional travel if any urgent support.
- Interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
Other Prerequisites
- Able to work on 12 hours shifts
