Description
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to manage the maintenance and repair of our facilities in the Gulf region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians and ensuring that all facilities are properly maintained and in compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure facilities are kept in top condition
- Manage a team of technicians and contractors, assigning tasks and ensuring that work is completed on time and to a high standard
- Ensure that all facilities are in compliance with local regulations and safety standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and cost-effectively
- Prepare budgets and manage expenses for the facilities department
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, and prepare reports for management as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the Gulf region
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians
- Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans
- Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Strong budgeting and expense management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software
