Facilities Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Utility Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical utility systems in our factory setting. This includes boilers, compressed air systems, LPG stations, and HVAC equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of these systems, which are essential for our production processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance tasks on boilers, compressed air systems, LPG stations, and HVAC equipment according to established schedules and manufacturer recommendations.

Conduct inspections, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

Repair and replace defective components in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when working with utilities.

Assist with the installation of new utility equipment.

May be required to operate heavy machinery or specialized equipment related to utility systems.

Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Utility Technician or in a related field.

Proven experience in maintaining and repairing boilers, compressed air systems, LPG stations, and HVAC equipment.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with utility systems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in boiler or HVAC maintenance.

Experience working in a factory environment (Preferred in food industries).

Working knowledge of LPG regulations and safety procedures.
