Occupation Description:
The Facility Management Assistant Manager will be responsible for major building service disciplines such as air conditioning, BMS, lifts etc., operational topics such as cleaning, landscaping, security services etc., cost planning, assisting in new projects to maintain and service company Facilities portfolio.
Job Scope
- Implement preventative maintenance plans and daily checklists for service providers.
- Supervise and conduct daily walkthrough plans in coordination with O&M and soft services service providers to stand on the daily operations.
- Provide guidance, direction, and assistance to technicians and labors in related disciplines.
- Maintain technical communication between on-site technicians and the management.
- Proactively guide design & construction teams to implement facility management standards.
- Participate in technical evaluation for the selected service providers through a tendering process.
- Implementation of the CAFM system and design of all the related workflow processes needed for system configuration.
- Supervise, screen, and approve the offers received from the contractors and ensure the completion of related tasks perfectly and at the optimum cost.
- Manage active contracts, and provide the required planning, financial allocations & technical expertise.
- Supervise and screen monthly reports and make assessments for each active O&M contractor to stand on the quality of services provided and the number of pending tasks according to the set KPIs/SLA
- Participate in generating/applying new measures to achieve proper energy utilization to reduce the overall operational expenses.
- Review engineering design proposals, design drawings, specifications, and other technical document submissions and recommend improvements.
- Ensure all premises comply with current legislation and health & safety standards
- Ensure the facilities are designed & executed in a way that facilitates high-standard maintenance and that all regulations and internal procedures are fulfilled
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow guidelines regarding identifying and reporting health and safety hazards.
- Commitment to various operational hours and schedules.
- Perform any additional tasks as requested according to the company's policies and policies.
Education and Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- FMP, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus.
Most Common Work Experience Requested:
- 7-12 years of experience, previous experience in the Real Estate industry is a must.
