Job Description

The Facility Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the companys facilities. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of facility management.

General Work Function

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the facility maintenance team.

  • Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to staff.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of facility

    systems.

  • Coordinate and supervise repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and service requests.

  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and overseeing

    service agreements.

  • Ensure that all outsourced services meet company standards and comply with safety regulations.

  • Assist in the development and management of the facility maintenance budget.

  • Monitor expenses and ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted within budget.

  • Ensure that all facilities are compliant with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified hazards or violations.

  • Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response plans.

  • Plan and oversee facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and expansions.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

  • Ensure that all necessary tools and materials are available for maintenance staff.

  • Track usage and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages
