Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility Supervisor with a strong background in the construction field to oversee and manage the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a UAE driving license, ensuring mobility and efficiency in performing duties across various sites.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance & Operations:
  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Conduct regular inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong the life of facility assets.
Construction Oversight:
  • Oversee construction projects, including renovations, upgrades, and new installations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Review construction plans and drawings, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, implementing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential hazards.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Liaise with external contractors and vendors, negotiating contracts, overseeing work, and ensuring service delivery meets company standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.
Budget & Resource Management:
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the facility budget, monitoring expenditures and optimizing resource allocation.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, construction projects, and safety inspections.
Prepare and submit regular reports on facility operations, maintenance, and construction projects to management.
  • Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management, with a focus on the construction field.
Education: Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.License: Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
  • Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in using facility management software and tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
  • Certification in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) is an advantage.
Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
