About the Position
Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer.
Qualifications:
- As per the applied position requirement with professional English proficiency.
- PhD degree for Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor position
- Master's degree for Lecturer position.
- The position requires a Master/PhD in Mathematics, Statistics or in a related field required or related degree.
- Suitable experience in academia and industry.
- The ability to update/develop new programs/curriculum should the need arise.
- Excellent command of English (verbal, written).
- Familiarity with accreditation and quality assurance processes.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach and develop courses
- Completes documentation as required to maintain programmatic accreditation.
- Supervise senior research projects.
- Serve on various department, college, and university committees.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities of programs in the department.
- Attend University and College faculty meetings, convocations, commencements, and official functions of the University.
- Participate in research/scholarly activities in your area of speciality, involving undergraduates in his/her research.
- Participate in student recruitment, advising and institutional and/or community service.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the department chair and the dean of the College.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of pedagogical practice and theory.
- Knowledge of academic course standards.
- Knowledge of the college's academic programs.
