Project Overview:
OSRA PROGRAM is a USAID funded program that started August 2022 and is schedule to end August 20227. The program addresses both the supply and demand for the RH/FP services with a focus on youth empowerment and gender equity. The project works on the national level supporting and strengthening systems in collaboration and partnership with MOHP/Population and family planning sector. The Program intervenes in 10 governorates and provide a comprehensive capacity building of service provision adopting a total market approach so addressing capacity needs of MOHP clinics, NGO owned clinics, and private sector entities including private clinics and pharmacies. The project adopts the same total market approach in creating demand where all institutions in the country are seen with potential to contribute to addressing the unplanned growth of the population and the less-than-optimal population characteristics.
Summary of Role:
The FP Field Implementation Officer will be responsible for follow up implementation of FP activities in intervention governorates. S/he will be responsible for timely implementation of the activities, quality, documentation and collecting M&E data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to all project staff and capacity building to community level members on key areas of project implementation, to ensure the impact of interventions.
- Conduct daily field visits to monitor field level activities and ensure delivering all needed Central office data and reports.
- Maintain records of all target achievements/indicators to monitor progress.
- Support in the timely preparation and quality control of technical reports, briefs and required project documents.
- Responsible for collecting the background documents related to the all-project interventional activities.
- Support the technical assistant in Identifying sources of information and synthesis of best practices and lessons learned directly linked to project goals.
- Support in the development of network with the government institutions, private sector, civil society in health and.
- Draft sections of quarterly, annual, and final reporting to technical assistant of the Regional & Field Operation Manager, including follow-up with staff for additional details.
- Provide relevant materials, case studies, photographs, events, and media contacts in coordination with all project staff members and communication department.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms expressing complex and technical terminology and concepts in an understandable manner.
- Ensure the availability and appropriateness of the local training facilities (seating arrangement, training models, printed materials, training logistics)
- Supervision of all training activities with all related stakeholders
- Follow up private physicians, pharmacists, and pharmacy assistants training
- Report any violation from OSRA partners to concerned Team Lead
- Ability to perform or support the local trainers during FP Compliance and VAWG sessions
- Correct pre and post-test and calculate scores
- Observe FP compliance and report any suspected violation to FP Compliance Officer or FP/RH Team Lead
Required Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelors degree in medicine, preferably gynecology, family planning, family medicine or public health postgraduate.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in family planning service provision and supervision, similar program, or developmental program.
- Good training experience.
- Good personality with good leadership capabilities.
- Essential experience with the Ministry of Health and Population with good understanding of the ministry work systems.
- Essential computer literacy (word, excel, power point and internet).
- Good experience in monitoring tools and systems.
- Demonstrate experience in different donors compliance and reporting
- Understanding of humanitarian operations principles, standards, gender issues, cultural sensitivity, and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage efficiently multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks with attention to details to write clear reports.
- Strong communications and well-argued & reporting skills.
- Good knowledge of English
Preferred Education and Work Experience:
- Languages: Foundational writing and speaking skills using local language and English language.
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Services: Foundational knowledge of family planning and reproductive health principles, practices, and services of assigned program.
- Passion for Sexual and Reproductive Health: Commitment to family planning, reproductive health services, gender, maternal, child health services, and eradication of harmful traditional practices
- Software Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Communication: Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Influencing and Customer Service: Foundational influencing and diplomacy skills. Advanced customer service skills.
- Organization, Planning and Multi-tasking: Advanced organizational and planning skills, project planning and management skills. Proven ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Self-Management and Teamwork: Ability to work independently or as a member of the team, ability to be detailed-oriented, and ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment.
