Position Overview:
This role within the poultry industry involves overseeing all aspects of farm and hatchery vaccination operations, including products, staff, and equipment. This position is responsible for supporting best practices and procedures to ensure profitability. Duties include equipment maintenance, vaccine application device operation, understanding customer needs and market trends, keeping records, and constantly producing reports. The role may also involve providing consultation to hatchery managers and other practices.
Job Duties:
- Support all farm and hatchery activities as needed
- Direct and implement effective vaccination processes
- Support farm and hatchery regulations for vaccinations
- Manage equipment repairs and address issues
- Maintain smooth operations of vaccine application devices
- Stay updated on industry knowledge and new trends
- Communicate with hatchery managers regarding vaccination practices
- Ensure appropriate animal welfare during the process
- Willingness to travel extensively domestically

Employed at poultry production companies, hatcheries, or similar positions at poultry vaccines companies
Required Education and Training:
A Farm & Hatchery Innovation and Vaccination Services Specialist should have a bachelor's degree in poultry science, animal science, or a related field. Previous management experience is necessary to demonstrate the ability to handle the responsibilities of supporting the entire hatchery operation. Candidates with prior experience in a hatchery environment have an advantage.
