We are looking to hire a Part Time Fashion Designer in Lebanon.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop clothing collections aligned with brand aesthetic and target market.
- Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings.
- Select fabrics, trims, and materials based on quality, cost, and availability
- Ensure adherence to design standards and quality guidelines.
- Should be able to manage wearer's trials with the aim of improving fit & grading.
- Ability to develop grade rules to match sizing requirements by preparing graded size charts for production to ensure a consistent fit across all sizes.
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers and factories throughout production and address any technical issues to ensure shipment dates are achieved.
Requirements and skills:
- Minimum 7-8 years of proven experience as a Fashion Designer
- A bachelor's degree in fashion design is required
- Knowledge and understanding of production process and grading rules
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to create, cut and sew-up patterns
- Excellent design and conceptual skills & ability to do sketches by hand
