Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for standardizing reporting processes, assisting with financial consolidation, and driving performance improvements within the subsidiaries by monitoring and enhancing their KPIs. The Business Partner will also provide strategic financial insights, ensuring that the finance function adds value to the overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the subsidiary finance team to develop, refine, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with corporate goals.
- Provide regular reports on KPI performance, highlighting areas of concern and success.
- Ensure effective communication of financial expectations, deliverables, and timelines.
- Provide recommendations and actionable insights to subsidiaries to optimize financial outcomes and enhance their operational efficiency.
- Assist the subsidiaries in developing their budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the overall financial strategy of the parent company.
- Monitor compliance with standardized reporting and provide guidance where necessary.
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the parent company and its subsidiaries
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across subsidiaries.
- Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and inform key business decisions
- Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements for data for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Work closely with subsidiary finance teams to analyze their financial performance, identify key areas for improvement, and track performance against KPIs.
- Support subsidiaries in the review and adjustment of forecasts as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, preferably Master's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a listed entity
- Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and performance management
- Previous experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Professional certification ( CPA, CMA, ACCA).
