Job Purpose
The Finance Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor, providing financial insights and expertise to drive business performance across the group's diverse portfolio. This role is responsible for delivering financial planning, analysis, and guidance, ensuring alignment with the group's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in IFRS standards, have experience across the UAE/KSA markets, and possess a deep understanding of financial processes within a multi-industry holding group environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Advisory: Act as a trusted finance advisor to business leaders across various subsidiaries, providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Performance Management: Develop and monitor KPIs, preparing performance reports to analyze and drive profitability, cost management, and operational efficiencies.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant local regulations (UAE and KSA). Prepare and review consolidated financial reports for senior management and board presentations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and legal, to optimize financial performance across all subsidiaries.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks. Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain robust financial health.
- Cost Optimization & Investment Appraisal: Provide insights and analysis on cost-saving opportunities and evaluate new business investments to maximize ROI.
- Systems & Process Improvement: Streamline financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and support data-driven decision-making. Contribute to the implementation of financial systems where required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a professional qualification such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, or CMA is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 3-5 years in a business partnering capacity within a multi-entity or holding group structure. Experience in UAE/KSA markets is essential.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and proven experience with UAE/KSA financial regulations.
- Strong FP&A and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand the strategic goals of a holding group and align financial strategies accordingly.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
