As an Executive Finance professional, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including VAT filings, accounts payable, and intercompany reconciliations. You will ensure accurate recording of transactions, assist in monthly financial forecasting, and prepare key financial reports. Additionally, you will manage audits, liaise with government bodies on trade license and immigration matters, and handle visa documentation for staff.
This role requires strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills. You must be adaptable, resourceful, and able to manage high workloads while meeting strict deadlines. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
The client is offering a one-year contract with a view to extension. Contract expected to commence no later than November 14th 2024.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting duties, VAT filing, and Accounts Payable.
- Process invoices via Eyeshare websites. Ensure all documents are checked and approved before transferring to SAP.
- Responsible for monthly closing of accounts. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the system and intercompany balances are reconciled with transacted entities.
- Assist in monthly financial and cash flow forecasting.
- Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT return reports on a quarterly basis.
- Prepare withholding tax reports on a monthly basis.
- Ensure assets are properly recorded according to the companys accounting policies.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and statutory bodies; responsible for drafting audit accounts.
- Prepare scheduled financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis, such as Management Accounts, Work in Progress reports, and Management Financial reports.
- Liaise with government bodies such as the Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Organization for Social Insurance, General Authority for Statistics, and other relevant authorities for trade licenses and immigration matters.
- Organize the attestation of certificates, legal translation of documents, and other immigration and labour-related activities.
- Prepare visa documentation for new starters, leavers, transfers, and renewals.
- Undertake other job responsibilities as required by management.
