Responsibilities:
anage , Monitor company financial activities including Strategic Financial Planning, banking relationships, fund raising, arranging letters of guarantees & letters of credit, Audits, Cash Flow, Working Capital, Asset Management, Budgeting, Cost Controlling, Receivables & Payables, Payroll, Bank related transactions, MIS Reporting, Internal Controls and Systems & Procedures Implementation. ensuring that all is in line with IFRS & internal control system.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, including accountants and clerks.
- Delegate tasks and ensure team members meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work.
- Provide guidance and training as needed.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, including the preparation of tax returns.
- Coordinate with auditors during financial audits.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in financial reporting and accounting.
