Job Purpose
Responsible to manage individually the finance affairs of Mashreq MGN Egypt to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, responsible to manage all Financial, taxation, corporate statutory compliance and governance requirements.
Key Result Areas
- Working with the external accounting and taxation firm to set up initial processes
- Validation of monthly financial statements prepared by external accountants and report to management on monthly financial performance and other related reports.
- Ensure timely completion of all statutory compliances & include compliance to corporate taxes, Sales taxes and other relevant legislation
- Co-ordinate the activities of statutory audit/ Tax audit in consultation with Head Office and also the Internal Audit.
- Monitor the cash flow requirements of the company and arrange for necessary funds.
- Evolve and implement various systems circulars / procedures having financial / legal implications in consultation with Head Office wherever required.
- Discuss with respective unit Head for their annual budget requirement / justification and consolidate the annual budget for review and approval at Head Office
- Participate in various committees / discussions involving financial matters.
- Focus on regulatory, control & audit requirements
- Prepare the necessary documents for Mashreq Egypt MGN Board meeting & General Meetings.
- Review Purchase Orders for various taxes and budget availability
- Provide Financial analysis on ad hoc basis if required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Sound accounting and reconciliation knowledge and experience
- Ability to co-ordinate & work with different work groups across locations
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar profile
