Our client is a leading real estate development company in the UAE, they a seeking a qualified Finance Manager (GL & Reporting) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with significant experience in real estate finance, including tax, VAT, budgeting, and management information system (MIS) reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management: Oversee and manage the entire general ledger process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations and company policies, adhering to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process by preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support financial decision-making.
- Tax and VAT Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT filings and other statutory requirements relevant to the real estate sector.
- Management Information Systems (MIS): Develop and maintain effective management reporting frameworks that provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment between financial objectives and overall business goals.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented team environment.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant: Must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of finance management experience, preferably within the real estate development sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE tax laws, particularly regarding VAT, and strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient experience in budgeting, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location: UAE
Salary: AED 25,000 - AED 30,000 per month
