Responsibilities:
- Review the monthly Depreciation Expense and Signoff to identify and document exceptions.
- Provide oversight and assistance in preparation and submission of accurate financial reports related to fixed assets for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to Fixed Asset Policy and the DOA in execution of activities related to Fixed Assets and budget allocations
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during annual audits by providing documentation and information for fixed asset transactions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal control procedures related to fixed assets.
- Perform CAPEX budget swaps to enhance financial agility and support better decision-making in capital allocation.
- Develop plan and provide oversight for regular physical inventory audits to verify the existence and condition of fixed assets.
- Manage project expenditure and coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper capitalization of assets upon project completion.
- Perform detailed analysis of fixed asset data for internal and external stakeholders to enhance strategic planning and support the organization's long-term financial objectives.
- Prepare Budget vs. Spend report and support the budgeting and forecasting exercise by providing asset-related information and data to drive resource optimization
Skills:
Bachelor*s degree in accounting or commerce or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance role, preferably 2 years* experience working in Fixed Assets.
