Job Description
Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects. This role combines accounting expertise with a deep understanding of the specific financial dynamics. Key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role are:
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for the F&B department.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to improve cost efficiency.
- Explore opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Cost Control:
- Implement and maintain effective cost control measures.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, including raw materials, inventory, and wastage.
- Work closely with the procurement team to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare regular financial reports for the F&B department.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
- Revenue Analysis of sales data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Operations to develop pricing strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes for food and beverage items.
- Implement systems to track and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies, wastages and losses.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Corporate finance, procurement, and operations.
- Provide financial guidance and support to operations.
- Provide business partnership to the relevant stakeholders.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to F&B finances.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Technology Integration: Implement and leverage accounting software and technology solutions.
Forecasting:
- Develop financial forecasts and projections for the F&B department.
- Assess the financial impact of new initiatives or changes in the business.
- Implement controls to safeguard against fraud and financial mismanagement.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to F&B operations.
- Implement controls to safeguard against fraud and financial mismanagement.

Candidate Requirements:
- Restaurant industry experience: 4 years +
- Experience in using Prologic and Touche systems (preferred but not mandatory)
- Degree in Accounting or Finance / ACCA / CPA
