Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Accountant to support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day bookkeeping activities of the Finance department, ensuring the accuracy of the financial reports, and to support with the month-end processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the Accounts Receivables and invoicing to FTA standards in the UAE.
• Month End Balance Sheet reconciliation across multiple entities.
• Perform Bank account reconciliation with multiple currencies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for UK entity.
• Compute monthly client reports to support invoicing.
• Assist with Internal & External Audit.
• VAT report preparation to FTA standards.
• Support other finance team members as and when required.
• Ensure that financial records meet with company standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in bookkeeping: accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.
• Experience with UAE VAT a must.
• Agency experience is a plus.
• Strong mathematical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent Excel skills
• High degree of accuracy.
• Superb time management.
• Experience with Xero & Synergist a bonus.
• Proficiency with commonly used accounting ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, Sage.
