Financial Analyst

We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team.

Job Ooverview:

The Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the FP&A function. Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts and assist with creating presentations with insights for the decision makers within the company.

The Finance Analyst will contribute to financial modeling and cost analysis, being able to make data-driven recommendations to help the company achieve its financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and monitor the key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decision-making.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Work closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data.
• Prepare regular reporting of Business Unit performance analysis
• Prepare monthly reporting of Overheads Actual vs Budget vs Forecast for the respective budget holders
• Financial Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the FP&A Manager and other senior management to support various business initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role, ideally within a corporate or large business unit environment.
• Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desirables:

• Prior experience working within a Construction business
• Experience with budgeting software and financial reporting systems is highly desirable.
• A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to build complex models and perform in-depth data analysis.
• Expertise in Power BI or other visualization tools, including the ability to create and interpret interactive dashboards and reports.
