Financial Budgeting and Business Planning Manager (Qatarization)

We are seeking an experienced Financial Budgeting and Business Planning Manager (Qatarization) for a prestigious bank in Doha, Qatar. This role is a permanent opportunity focused on creating long-term financial strategies, monitoring budgets, and ensuring effective business performance across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Shareholder & Financial:

• Assist in developing financial strategies to maximize shareholder value.
• Monitor and manage annual budgets for all divisions in collaboration with departmental heads.
• Provide regular management reports on financial performance, highlighting key variances.
• Implement KPIs and promote cost-efficiency across the organization.

Customer Relations:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal departments to achieve financial goals.
• Coordinate with the IT department to address budget reporting needs promptly.
• Provide accurate information to auditors and compliance teams as required.

Internal Processes:

• Oversee the analysis and implementation of the latest reporting tools.
• Enhance budgeting techniques and maintain reporting standards for both domestic and international operations.
• Lead updates to the budgetary system as necessary.

Learning & Knowledge:

• Develop and train team members in financial strategy best practices.
• Conduct performance assessments and resolve personnel conflicts effectively.

Compliance & Ethics:

• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high professional standards to uphold the organization's reputation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field; professional certifications (CPA, CA, CMA, CFA) are a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in a major banking environment.
• Proficient in financial reporting processes, including IFRS and IAS.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
