Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our software company in the UAE and Egypt.
He/She will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire financial cycle for both UAE and Egypt operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following UAE and Egyptian GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities in both UAE and Egypt.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Manage and motivate the finance team in the UAE and Egypt.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant UAE and Egyptian financial regulations and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA a plus).
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably within the software industry.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management principles.
- Experience working in a multinational environment with operations in multiple countries (UAE & Egypt).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.
