Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of IFRS standards, proven managerial experience, and a strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and audits. You will lead the financial function with a focus on maintaining the integrity of our financial information and ensuring compliance with both local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Oversee both internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and addressing audit findings promptly.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial performance.
Ensure the preparation and presentation of financial statements and other regulatory reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve financial performance, cost controls, and profitability.
Lead the finance team, ensuring the team is well-trained in internal control procedures, financial reporting, and auditing practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Professional certification such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is preferable.
4-5 years of managerial experience in finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, internal controls, and audit practices.
Experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
