Job Description: The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role involves a broad range of responsibilities, including
Financial Planning
- Develop and maintain detailed financial plans and budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Monitor and report on budget variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
Forecasting
- Create and update financial forecasts based on current trends, historical data, and market conditions.
- Ensure forecasts are accurate and align with the company's strategic goals.
Analysis
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario planning.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Data Management
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within the company's financial systems.
- Develop and maintain financial models and databases to support analysis and reporting needs.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for financial planning and analysis.
- Provide financial insights and support to business units to drive performance improvement.
Compliance And Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred.
- More than 5 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, financial software).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
