Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead and manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, including long-term planning, profitability analysis, and cost management.
- Analyze key financial and operational data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership for continuous business improvement.
Data Analytics
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data.
- Develop dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into business performance, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is accurate, timely, and actionable for decision-making.
Business Partnering & Strategic Insights
- Act as a trusted business partner to key stakeholders, providing insights into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with department leaders to assess performance against financial goals and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis for new investments, projects, or operational changes.
Process Automation & Improvements
- Lead efforts to automate financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously assess and refine FP&A workflows and processes to drive improvements in speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Introduce best practices for process improvement, leveraging tools such as ERP systems, data visualization software, and financial modelling tools.
Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present periodic financial reports, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reports to senior leadership, providing clear explanations of financial performance and trends.
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards.
