Job Description

Main Purpose :

Were looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist in Walaplus will be a key role within the Finance Department and will be responsible for providing strong financial reporting, business partnering & analysis especially focusing on optimizing budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Team with the delivery of month end/year-end, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget for the business by timely preparation of month end P&L and Balance Sheet forecast and business Performance Dashboard Metrics, month-end, and year-end reports.
  • Identify efficiencies and build improvements to existing financial processes and reports and identify key trends and provide risk analysis where necessary.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis and review of monthly revenues, including invoiced, accrued, and deferred revenues for each agreement. Identify and recommend necessary adjusting entries to ensure that accurate financial figures are reported.
  • Cost Controlling & Analysis - track, analyze and control the costs associated with transactional business and specific Products reporting , with strong unit economics analysis.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams/key stakeholders of business outside of Finance in ensuring Financial Analysis is provided for Strategic Decision Making and Planning.
  • Provide timely, appropriate, and useful information to other departments. Apply your team skills and cross-functional experience to deliver an effective solution.
  • Identify efficiencies and build improvements to existing financial processes and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a B2B fintech/SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and organized approach to problem-solving and time management.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with SaaS/Fintech business models and their financial dynamics.
