Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
Install frameworks, trim, moldings, doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden components.- Inspect and repair existing wooden structures and fixtures to address issues such as damage, wear, or structural weaknesses.
Replace or reinforce wooden components as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain and repair carpentry tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.- Select and use appropriate tools for specific tasks, including saws, drills, sanders, and measuring instruments.
Prepare work sites by setting up and organizing tools and materials.
- Clean up the work area and dispose of waste materials responsibly.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry preferred.
- Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and machinery.- Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
