Job Description

About us:

The Group Securities is a well-established investment organization working in the finance industry since 1989, as a company devoted to the stock exchange. It was licensed once Qatar Stock Exchange was founded in 1997 and provides an array of investment services to more than 400,000 investors, with portfolios exceeding QR 100 billion. As brokerage firm, The Group Securities finances margin trading and operates as liquidity provider for the listed shares and ETFs. The company has a paid-up capital worth (QR 1 billion) and has been continuously posting profit since its inception. Besides being licensed by Qatar Financial Market Authority to exercise these activities, The Group Securities is also a member of Qatar Stock Exchange.

Responsibilities:

Electronic Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily schedule called Electronic Compliance Report to the President, highlighting non-compliant areas in the database tables.
  • Support Compliance Unit in extracting any shared data.
  • Access data documentation systems (such as Jira) and submit a report to the Board Chairman regarding non-compliance.
  • Monitor database changes by the Database Administrator and send a report to the Board Chairman.
  • Coordinate with specialists and inform the Chairman on system errors and their resolution.
  • Audit rejected remote update requests.
  • Review testing team reports before implementing any software modifications or additions to the live system environment.
  • Authorize call extraction and send to compliance upon request via email.
  • Provide Internal Audit and Customer Sector Manager with database-derived reports based on their emailed requirements.
  • Support Compliance in extracting any required data from regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor customer data quality ratios.
  • Track manual changes in the database.

Business Monitoring Administration Tasks (Administrative Duties):

  • Extract calls related to the Presidential Suite.
  • Monitor guest log.
  • Monitor meeting attendance record.
  • Monitor meeting minutes record.
  • Track draft versions (Business Rules Editions) with stakeholders prior to release.
  • Track and ensure implementation of releases record.
  • Monitor incoming mail record.
  • Monitor compliance.
  • Monitor stakeholders to ensure execution quality.
  • Organize unified storage for the President.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database management or related positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with project management software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethics and a positive attitude.
