Job Summary-
As a Food & Beverage Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, seating them, and ensuring a smooth dining experience by providing excellent customer service.
Job Responsibility-
- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and seat them according to their preferences and the seating chart
- Provide menus and assist guests with any questions or special requests
- Take reservations over the phone or in person and manage the seating plan efficiently
- Communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues that may arise
- Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere for guests
Candidate Requirements-
- Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or similar customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service best practices
