Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses of the client's current food operations, including menu, ingredients, recipes, and production processes
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing the client's food offerings, operational efficiency, and profitability
- Develop innovative menu concepts and recipes that align with the client's brand and target audience
- Stay up-to-date with the latest food trends, regulations, and best practices in the industry
- Provide training and support to the client's culinary and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of recommended changes
- Collaborate with the client's marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies for new menu items or food concepts
- Monitor the client's performance and provide ongoing support and recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef, food service manager, or food industry consultant
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation, food safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with food industry software and technology (e.g., inventory management, recipe costing, menu engineering)
- Proven track record of developing successful food concepts and driving operational improvements for clients
- Certification in food safety or culinary arts (e.g., Certified Food Safety Manager, Certified Executive Chef) is a plus
