Bank of Jordan, a leading financial institution with a global presence, is seeking a skilled Foreign Branches Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Foreign Branches Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing the creditworthiness and risk associated with lending to clients of our foreign branches. You will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, credit histories, and other relevant information to evaluate borrowers ability to repay loans and manage risks.

Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit histories, and other relevant information to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers
- Evaluate the ability of borrowers to repay loans and manage risks
- Conduct comprehensive credit assessments, including financial ratio analysis and risk scoring
- Review loan documents and collateral to assess the overall risk associated with lending to foreign branch clients
- Provide recommendations for credit decisions based on thorough analysis and assessment
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and foreign branch teams to gather relevant information and assess credit risk
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to inform credit assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in a financial institution with international operations
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and credit risk assessment
- Experience in evaluating the creditworthiness of borrowers and analyzing financial statements
- Knowledge of local and international banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to make sound credit decisions and provide well-founded recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
