Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Foreman for Jetty Construction to supervise daily construction activities on-site. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the work of construction crews, ensuring that jetty construction is executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Manage and direct construction teams during jetty construction activities, including pile driving, concrete pouring, and marine structure installation.
- Daily Operations: Coordinate daily tasks, ensuring that all work is performed safely and to a high standard of quality.
- Safety Enforcement: Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring that all personnel follow appropriate procedures.
- Resource Management: Manage the use of construction materials, equipment, and labor to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets design specifications and engineering standards for jetty construction.
- Reporting: Provide daily reports to the Site Engineer and Project Manager regarding project progress and any issues encountered on-site.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marine works, specifically jetty or offshore construction.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead construction crews in challenging marine environments.
- Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety practices in marine construction.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively with the site team and subcontractors.
Language:
- English is required.
- Arabic is preferred.
