Purpose
We are currently seeking the appointment of an experienced and highly skilled Forensic Planner to join our team. You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing delay analysis, EoT and related claims. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in planning, delay analysis methodologies, and construction claims preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive forensic analysis of project schedules, identifying critical path activities, delays, and disruptions.
- Scrutinize schedule data to pinpoint deviations from the planned timeline and determine root causes of schedule variances.
- Analyze delay impacts on project milestones, completion dates, and costs, assessing concurrent delays and quantifying their implications.
- Lead the preparation and review of Extension of Time (EoT) claims, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and providing evidence-based support.
- Prepare detailed forensic reports outlining schedule analyses, delay impacts, and causation factors.
- Collaborate with legal and construction teams, providing technical support during claim preparation and defense, and offer expert witness testimony in legal proceedings and dispute resolution forums.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Preferably certified PMI-SP or PSP.
- Advanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience as Senior Planning Engineer; Delay Analyst, Forensic Planner and construction claims.
- Experience ideally from a specialist disputes consultancy.
- Strong commercial and contractual expertise in working on claims.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
