The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for an FP&A Analyst, to join our Group Finance team on a 6 months contract basis.
FP&A Analyst is responsible of financial planning, data analysis, and reporting to support business decision with the North West Africa (NWA) region.
Acting as a business partner and support country manager (commercial lead of NWA) and finance team, finance manage and director in any of their decisions by providing timely, accurate management reports .
Prepare financial budgets and forecast. Lead the annual budget, strategic planning, monthly forecasting for NWA market.
Performance analysis vs targets and provide recommendations on improving efficiency and mitigating risk
Evaluate the financial impact of any proposed project
Support commercial leads (country manager) on maximising biasness opportunities and market potentials by providing accurate analysis and raise any risk or opportunities.
Work closely with supply chain and distributor on daily, monthly process to align on shipments forecasting , estimate the monthly shipments ,and follow up on accurate invoice booking
Follow up with distributor on payments and to raise any risk that may occur and propose mitigation plan that meets business and financial targets
In addition to the analytical skills, the candidate should have an accounting background to follow up on monthly closing and be point of contact with shared service centre [reviews, prepare Journal Entries (JE), Debit Note (DN), Certificate of Deposit (CD)]
Act as point of contact for compliance internal or/and external auditors to full fill any of their needs and requirements
Follow up on payments collection raise any potential risk for any bad debit if any.
Support MENA finance and commercial team in their business decisions by being able to model different financial scenarios with identifying the variables and risk and opportunities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Degree in accounting, finance or business
Other Key Requirements For This Role Include
Strong knowledge and experience in consumer health business
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare industry - NWA region is preferred
Strong Financial, Accounting background
Financial Acumen and analysis
Strategic planning and forecasting - able to create an accurate budget and forecast, and being able to model different financial scenarios to support in business decision
Advanced excel skills
ERP system knowledge of financial software
Effective communication skills, strong personality to be the point of contact with distributors, supply chain, support function and audits
Excellent communication in English and French is a must (verbal and written) to deal with the distributors, supply chain
